Wealthy and spectacular – The Actual Assessment

The Actual Assessment Wine Classification Function Week

Daosa Piccadilly Valley Blanc de Blancs 2017, Adelaide Hills, AUD $89

From the Bizot winery within the Piccadilly Valley, this wine was born in a cool 12 months conducive to advantageous glowing wine. It spent eight months in barrel and underwent malolactic fermentation earlier than being bottled for its second yeast fermentation. It’s a two Benefit wine in The Actual Assessment’s Wine Classification of Australia.

There are matchstick and toast aromas amid the straw and lemon fruit notes, whereas the style is intense and targeted, wealthy and full. Wonderful acidity and low dosage give it a refreshingly dry end and a construction that’s as taut as a violin string. A powerful, mouth-watering wine that will go nicely with many meals. (Diam)
