In partnership with ESTA Nepal Tea Collective’s sister non-profit wing Nepal Tea Basis will probably be presenting a minimum of one scholarship for tea coaching and administration to empower girls within the tea business.
Aside from Rita, our youngest supervisor, many of the girls within the Nepali Tea Business are pluckers, processors and/or packers and that is our humble effort to upskill the ladies and get them to higher administration positions throughout the business.
This scholarship will enable a minimum of one girls who’s focused on pursuing a profession in tea business as tea makers, or tea manufacturing unit managers and/or some other management positions, to take a 12 months value of trainings and courses to develop/upskill their capabilities to make their careers in tea extra profitable.
